What factors played a part in in leading Russia to revolution? (Y12)

In the last two lessons you should have become aware of why Russia was ready for Revolution in 1917. A range of factors played a part in the collapse of the Tsar's autocracy.

Many of you have pointed to the fact that he and his actions during WWI were responsible, but how big an impact was Rasputin?

For next Wednesday you have your first major piece of written work to do your question is this:

To what extent was World War One to blame for the fall of autocracy in Russia? (20)

When we meet on Monday we will be looking at what followed Tsardom and will be investigationg the Provisional Government and the Petrograd Soviet, you might like to check these out!
