What did we do today (1)?

The man focus of the lesson today was looking at how Protestant England had become by 1547, I think that the answer that all of us came to was not much! The introduction of the 6 articles in 1539 highlighted how traditional religion was in many ways. All of you appreciated that after Henry had broken away from the church he had no real desire to make any further religious changes and to all intents and purposes he remained a Catholic. Remember that the speard of Protestantism also depended greatly on whereabouts in the country you were located. The South East such as Kent was more receptive o the new religion but the North in particular remained strongly Catholic.

For those of you that were away today (Jaini, Jaskiran & Depsi) you have a very important role to play tomorrow. Don't worry you have power!

Also don't forget to watch or set the sky plus for the Tudors tomorrow evening. I know that it's a bit Hollywood but some of it gives you a decent look at what was going on.

Anyway, time for me to get on with other stuff - the race is now on to see who my first follower is!
